Hope they rip out the inside completely. Whoever thought the redesign for Crush87 along with that stupid name should never be let near a niteclub again.

Its one of the four partners of crush that has taken it over.
Going for high end vip market

Lol, have to laugh at all these claims by places that they are going for the "high end vip" market. Like the rest they will be fussy on the door for a few months and then when they realise they are not making money from the "high vip" market they will drop the standards. Anyone remember Angel Lane when it opened the first time?

BTW does Limerick actually have a high vip market other than the wannabes looking to get their photo in the the Limerick Post or Leader every week?

How many high-end VIP's are looking for a niteclub in Limerick?

Or is that just business speak for no scobes allowed?

Behind it. It's the big old stone building housing the library and various other things:

Quite an impressive building - am surprised there doesn't seem to be a Wikipedia page on it.

The 1980s building that houses the city library and the nightclub is to be demolished as part of the site redevelopment proposal.

About time they demolished it. Should start by sticking a bomb in the jacks and blowing it up.

"Opera Centre" indeed. Limerick Council seems to be under the bizarre illusion that this project became a reality!:confused:
