    :confused: Just been fitting a rack, in my store room. Not a lot of air flow, thinking about it. Got it done. Was just gathering my tools up when I said to myself;

    " Fcuk me! I'm sweating like a pig! "

Then, I had a sudden moment of self doubt. Why would I say that? Have I ever actually seen a pig sweat? Do Pigs Sweat???

    AH ....?

Pigs do technically sweat, they're just **** at it and it's not an effective heat management system like humans have.

Does their sweat smell like bacon?

Pigs do not sweat. They don't have sweat glands.

They do. Just not enough to be helpful.

Not entirely sure, but I do know that when you got a body cut up into six pieces, you gotta get rid of them, because it's no good leaving it in the deep freeze for your mum to discover, now is it? Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to pigs.

You got to starve the pigs for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the piggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you don't want to go sievin' through pigshít, now do you?

They will go through bone like butter.

You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute.

Hence the expression: "As greedy as a pig".

They do, as do most mammals. They don't have the same functions as human sweat glands though. Something to do with coating the hair rather than temperature control.

They sweat a little bit, but not much.

They can get sunburned though, poor little piggies! (No, I don't know whether that smells like bacon frying, before anyone asks.)

They cannot sweat, as they have no sweat glands, hence they wallow to cool down body temperature.

I don't trust pigs. The Jews were right about them.

    Taken straight from Wikipedia

""Sweating like a Pig" to denote sweating profusely. While pigs do have sweat glands, they are not very effective, and pigs prefer wallowing in cool water or mud to keep cool."

Are you afraid they'll ruin your sheets OP?

I don't trust pigs. The Jews were right about them.

And Muslim, several Christian Orthodox churches, Seventh Day Adventists and others.

Nope. Just stating the biological facts. What passes for 'sweat glands' in porcine do not excrete sweat as we know it. my years of study were wrong and Wikipedia is now the font of all irrefutable fact.

Jeez, Lord forbid we had to rely on Wikipedia for common knowledge.
