Can anyone identify what these plants/trees are?

And depending on what they are, are they too close to the house or could they look nice if left?

    Thanks in advance.

    Yes, sycamore and ash.
I wouldn't leave them there. Much too close to the house and they will become very big trees over time. Either dig them out now and throw them away or if you have a friend with a very, very big garden who'd like them wait until October/November and transplant them.

The ash will grow at least 3 stories high and as wide as three houses. It should be in a field. Plus the leaves will fill your gutters and drains

Sycamore seeds itself with great enthusiasm. If there is a nearby tree you will always have one or two or more sycamore trees sprouting in the garden. Like the ash, far too big for an urban garden, get rid.

Or dig them up carefully and have a go at bonsai!
