New laptop help please

I need to invest in a new laptop, been using my Acer since 09 and it's still vista (we were too late to avail of free windows 7 upgrade)

Unfortunately I do more reading on boards than I do posting so I can't post urls
I've been looking at some refurbished laptops on ebay.co.uk where there is currently a tech deal

I'm mostly looking for a laptop that will do everyday stuff (web browsing, youtube,microsoft office etc. ) , some digital art (Paint tool Sai & Fire Alpaca), non-professional video editing (just home videos mostly !) , and hopefully run a streaming program
I don't know what's decent and not decent in laptops , hope it's alright that I've used google url shortener (because otherwise ebay url's are super long )

Its between the Elitebook and The Lenovo 305in my eyes.

- Lenovo being scummy
- Build quality of a business centric laptop
- Higher single core clock

Would all push me towards the HP.
