Linkedin job status?

    Hi all,

I finished a contract 4 weeks ago and am looking for another one. My last role on Linkedin is still listed as January 2015 until 'Present' even though my contract has finished. Does this matter a whole lot or should I change it to June 2016 when I actually finished.

Will I get less/more attention from recruiters if they see that I am not actually employed right now?

My CV does show that my last role finished in June 2016.

    Cheers

My experience is that recruiters pay very little heed to what's on your profile and just take a scattergun approach based on keywords. Maybe no harm to change it all the same, but put "Contract" in the title so it's clear you weren't fired.
