    Hi,

I was thinking of getting a manual Lawn mower as I don't have a huge garden.

I have never used one before so I was wondering if any one knows if there any good?

I was thinking of buying this one in woodies.

    Any recommendations welcome.

i have one (a qualcast) also. one comment i'd make about them is that if you have grass which is lying down/growing horizontally, it does not cope as well with this compared to a petrol/electric mower as it does not have the sucking action which can make grass like this stand up. it's not a big issue for me though.

Is the one from woodies a good brand or is there any other models that are better?

i think when i was buying, they only had an own brand woodies one, and the qualcast, which i think was €60.

Ah, yes! Brings me back to the summers of my childhood when nobody, (where we lived,) had petrol mowers, and the neighbours dog barking at the lunging machine!
