I have no brown bin collection, but I would much to prefer to dispose of food waste where it will be digested into Biogas like most of the brown bin collections in Dublin, rather than putting it in landfill.

I have checked with Ballyogan Recycling Park, which take both recycling and landfill material, but they do not take food waste. Is there any similar location which does accept Food Waste in Dublin?

Home composting for garden use is always possible. (given, a garden)

Even if you have no garden but only the balcony of a flat, there are rotating compost bins that you spin, or worm bins, that will dispose.

Failing that, you could look for - or start up - some community composting.

Your collection company is obliged to offer brown bin collection.
