Is iphone 7 worth the wait?

I broke my iphone 6 recently, it's badly water damaged and can't be fixed. I was stupid enough to not have insurance on it. I have no phone as of now. Is it worth buying an iphone 6s or should I wait until the iphone 7 comes out. I'm indecisive as Apple announce the iphone 7 in September so assuming it will be available here then/early October. Until then I could get a cheap phone. Will it be worth the wait or should I just go with the 6s?

Manufactured obsolescence, non serviceable, buried battery, software limiting old handsets when newer generations are available, company policy not to sell parts only repairs...I'm not supporting that business model...€0.02

Of course it's worth the wait. I've managed to hold onto my 6 for 2 years (I've hexxed myself now ). It's only a couple of months away.. Get something to cover you in the meantime. Also, I don't have insurance on my phone and I wouldn't call myself stupid.. Go easy on yourself, it's just a phone... 0.02 #appletart
