My Name is Alan. Im 32 and I am a singer/guitarist in a band in Dublin called sowing season. Our bassist is no longer with us looking for a bassist (Male /Female) to make up the band. To date we have an EP recorded and it's on soundcloud. Ill post the link at the end of this. If you can sing too that would be a plus but no panic on that end. If you like what you hear then we could chat etc. Just PM if you are interested. No time wasters please as we are serious have a direction where we'd like to take the band. Looking for someone between 20-40 I guess. Once you're easy to work with and dedicated to practicing at least once a week. Very important factor is that we need someone who'll contribute towards things like practice, recording, videos etc. Basically we want a musician who wants to move forward and be taken seriously so it requires a lot of dedication and money is a part of that so please don't bother replying unless you're ok with that part too please. I write all the songs and then we work them out the the practice space together. It's all about having fun while taking it serious also. Its all about the songs really. I we have a good set of 10 songs ready to go and I'm constantly writing too so gigging is going to e on the cards from here on our. Must have your own gear too. Influences I guess range from Ryan Adams,Radiohead, Damien Rice, Jeff Buckle to bands like Biffy Clyro, Manchester Orchestra, Beach Boys, The Maccabees etc. Just good bands really with melody.
