    Hi ,
Just inquiring about a creche operating in a cul de sac in a small housing estate (6 houses)
There is a creche operating in a family home where the garage was converted to operate as a creche I counted 18 children from 2 to 3 years no babies. I was told that in this area of 6 family homes that a second person has recently converted their garage into a creche which they intend to open as it seems the money being generated by the original creche has sparked interest. I was inquiring about such a place for my 1 year old but after seeing these places I cant understand how they have a license to operate. Is there a law about operating a business from ones home and is there a regulatory body that oversees the operations of creches, what suitable i.e premises, staff, area per child, safety requirement, fire regs etc...
