What was the last suspenseful film you've seen?

It's something that seems to be missing in recent films, well at least the ones I've seen anyway. The plane crash scene in Flight is the most recent one I can think of.

I misread the title as "least suspenseful" and it got me all excited about another change to vent about this so I'm gonna post anyway.

Midnight Special was extremely impressive in terms of how well and how often it managed to completely undercut any potential suspense which may arise. If they were trying to get you not at all concerned about anything, they couldn't have done a better job.

This +100, really really recommend it. Was actually kind of criminal that it snuck in under the radar.

Hidden - Directed by the Duffer brothers that made the new show on Netflix (Stranger things) I really liked it, an admirable effort at breathing fresh life into the horror genre, a few things some could pick apart but i really enjoyed it.

River: chase movie that is well put together, ended kind of abruptly but nicely executed the suspense building moments. Good story arch overall

I'll second this and I'll also say Sicario.
