Door frame width

I want to install a timber partition Wall with a door in the middle.
For the wall I want to use 75mm timber studs. But if I do so then which plaster board thickness and door frame thickness should I use?
If I go with 12.5mm plasterboard and a 108mm frame that leaves the frame proud of the wall by 4mm either side. Or If I use 15mm plasterboard and a 108mm frame then I only have the frame 1.5mm proud of the plasterboard.
Is 1.5mm enough for the wall skim-coat plaster ?
Is there another way of doing this?

It shouldn't matter what thickness of slab you use.
Most joinery work will make you up a pre hung door of your choice with whatever thickness of frame you need.
It's very easy to fix the frame into the opening.
    Saves a lot of hassle.

Get the wider frame and simply reduce it (make sure not on the door rebate side) to the required thickness after the wall is constructed. Its only one frame! I sometimes had to do this on site for all the frames in a house when they were to wide.

My advice would be to construct the partition first as sometimes 75mm studs are not actually 75mm, also you also need to consider how straight the studs are(i.e. is there a bow in them) and also if the partition is plumb or slightly off plumb.... all of these factors will come into play when deciding what size frame is correct.
