Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The open university offers various degree courses in earth sciences/geology etc... Might be an option for the mature student or someone who has a regular job but wants to study on their own time. I started one such course a good few years ago but had to drop it after a year as I had too much work and not enough spare time. The O.U. had a small irish operations centre here in Dublin for there irish based students.
