Usually everything is so corroded, we just burn out the shells with a welder, hammer and chisel then.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Is there a particular order to remove them. How do you remove the one on the front of the wish Bone. Do you need to remove the aluminium housing to remove the bearing or is the removed from the rear. Do you need to remove wishbone seperately from the vertical shaft or will the whole unit remove as one to give access to the aluminium housing

What model is it? Is it just the wishbone bearings, or the ones at the bottom as well? Ours is really old, take off hopper, and open the big hex piece sticking up into the fertiliser first.

Any pics? As a lad on another forum says 'I can't think without pictures'.

Ya, it looks only as if it is only the one in the front of the wishbone that fits into the aluminium piece. Everything else seems tight. Not sure of exact model but is a varispread if that makes any difference. It looks like the vertical piece that the agitator fit to need to be removed to give clear access to the flywheel. The 2 wings of the wishbone also connect to the vertical piece

It's newer than mine, is there a circlip anywhere near the bearing that's gone?

There is a circlip holding in the vertical shaft that the wishbone and agitator at connected to. Not sure if I need to take this off to get access to the front of the wishbone
