Windows 10 SD card reader issue

Wondering can anyone help me...I updated my laptop to Windows 10 a while ago and today tried to lift photos from my cameras memory card and it won't recognise it. I have an old micro SD card in a micro SD adapter and it will read that (from an old Samsung phone) but it will not recognise the "Memory Stick Pro Duo" adapter…

I have searched online and tried all of the advice given, downloaded suggested drivers etc and still nothing. I cannot find the cable that you can connect the camera to the laptop with either as the card reader on my laptop had made it pretty much obsolete.
