    Hello,

Not sure if there is something suitable out there but there is some site that's safe, user friendly and very easy to use where I can buy and sell shares with small money?

Eg I invest 50 euro and buy a few shares and try and see how far it takes me by selling and buying more etc. Looking at this for a bit of fun. I'm not into horses.

    thanks!

Degiro is by far the cheapest, but to give yourself a chance at getting a return, you really need to be investing in €500 chunks at very least.

Honestly investing e50 is fairly pointless. Buying/selling fees (even Degiro) will decimate any profit and exacerbate losses.
Have you considered throwing it on red in casino and possibly double your money instantly, have few cocktails simultaneously. If it's just for fun this would be my approach rather than buying/selling penny stocks.

To be honest it was just to have some sort of nerdy hobby, something to keep an eye on and just see where I could go with it.

No reason I can't have a night out at the same time :D

Go with Degiro OP, they're by far the cheapest on the market. And 50 is fine to start with, especially if you're treating it as a hobby and an educational experience. All hobbies cost money. You could have more expensive hobbies, that's for sure!

Who knows, maybe in future you might invest bigger amounts.

    Exactly. Thank you.

I would keep your 50 quid, buy a few investing books, and set up a fantasy trading account for free.

Do you recommend any books for beginners?

I've been using etoro a couple of years on and off, good place to practice and try small bets, safe enough if you use your leverage and stop losses correctly. Great that you can see what good rated traders are buying and selling in real time, you can lean a lot.

Notice most Irish users are not active, I'd say people go in dreaming big and get flushed out quickly, it's really a patience game ubtil you have half an idea what your up to.

They have a virtual account as well where you can trade virtual money on real markets.
