    Hey All,
It seems that on all platforms well maintained webtext apps are vanishing. With eirtext for iOS gone at least there is still JellySMS for iOS.

    What about for Android?
Cabbage is dead. JellySMS has been removed.

Are there any Android webtext apps that work well across Three/Vodafone/Tesco?

I get the feeling the market for this is long gone and the answer is: No

    Not on Meteor anymore.

All the phone networks are making small tweaks to their websites & login processes. If the developer of the app isn't active & has constant access to SIM for each provider their app will be soon useless.

In response to the OP, Irish Webtext is working well at the moment.

Texts are a declining business & webtexts even more so. Most phone packages have unlimited texts & with social media messaging apps dime a dozen these days.

Tested Swiftsms just now on Meteor, worked perfectly!

This is a sms app, not a webtext app.

Can i ask OP whats the reasoning to still use webtexts? Even taking whatsapp/viber/hangouts/ Facebook messenger aside, there are so many ways to get ultimated txts now on any amount of pre pay, sim only bill pay, and proper bill pay contracts across.......5 or more networks.

It completely baffles me when webtexts still come up in conversation on here.

I use webtexts to text foreign mobiles. I have unlimited national texts but not all bundles include texts to foreign mobiles.... so there 😂

We're talking about an android app for sending webtexts. So the receiver is not the problem as such. If txts are what a person is limited to sending to certain people and you 'need' to use webtexts then my argument would be what sort of outdated carrier set up are you on that they're costing money or in such limited number allocation for the month that its necessary.
