Ever see an article cited from the Capuchin Annual but didn't have your copy handy?

Well, fret no more, Irish history lovers...

    Capuchin Annual 1930-1977
The Annual frequently reflected a very strong nationalistic theme. The 1942 and 1966 editions of The Capuchin Annual are particularly well-known as they contained detailed articles, profusely illustrated, on the 1916 Rising. The complete collection of The Capuchin Annual is now being made freely available online solely for scholarly research.

    Capuchin Annual (Wikipedia)

The Capuchin Annual was an Irish annual publication published every year in Dublin by the Capuchins from 1930 to 1977. The motto of the publication was Do chum Glóire Dé agus Onóra na hÉireann (For the Glory of God and the Honour of Ireland).
What with the number of digitalizing and cataloguing projects being done, including the letters and private papers of the Easter Rising leaders (among others) at the National Library of Ireland, we historians are living in very exciting times.

Do chum Glóire Dé agus Onóra na hÉireann, indeed.
