I am looking forward to heading to the Foynes Air Show this Sunday and the weather looks to be decent for the day which is a massive plus. Anyone else on this forum planning to go? I can't post a link but the lineup can viewed on this website; foynesairshow.com

I was there in 2014 and I really enjoyed the day. A park and ride system is now place going what I've read online

Park and ride is well done, was at it last year. They direct you into big unused industrial areas and then 5 mins on a twisty bus looking at the docks.

    Have you done the museum?

It's great, but not airshow day. To many people and half of it is closed to public as they are using top floor for airshow but they don't tell you that when you're paying in.

Anyone know where the planes are taking of from? Shannon, Coonagh, or maybe Farranfore?

No I haven't been to the museum yet, but I've heard it's meant to be well worth a visit. I phoned this morning to find out and you're right the control tower is closed for the day to facilitate Air Traffic Control which is pretty cool. Supposedly they do reduce the entrance fee. I live near Cork city but hoping to get there early and visit the museum while it's not too busy.

I still haven't got them sorted yet but here's one to keep you interested. All the pictures have a terrible grey background though:(
