Anybody know the rules for having a dung heap in the yard. Does it need to be covered? Do you need a tank?

Doesn't need to be covered but you need a tank to collect any effluent coming off it, which will have a lot if uncovered. Outside the close period you can store Fym in a field, 20 metres from any watercourses.
