Hi All, I'm looking to change my broadband/landline phone from eirom/eir to Vodafone or another provider.
Eirom have increased bill to €65 month so really looking for a better deal. Vodafone looks promising.
I'm in drogheda town area but looking for anyone's opinion/experience with Vodafone please before I change over.
    Thanks

    Exact same service.
    Slightly worse router.

    Thats it.

Same service. However it is cheaper. Customer service is appalling though. They don't really do much to entice customers to stay with them either. Terrible manor on the phone. I have logged in to my account most weeks and there is a promotions tab. In the many years with them I don't think I have ever seen anything in there! Looking to change soon if I can find a provider with a similar price.

Sky are the only Irish ISP to really nail down the customer care end of things but they're cheapskates at a macro level.

You won't find fixed line for cheaper, the provider would have to lose money.

Did you end up changing to vodafone in the end, i am in Drogheda and need new broadband proivder as well. had planned to wait for Siro but looks like that is going to take some time yet.

i got a similiar letter from eir - an extra 7 euro to an already overpriced service. rang them and they showed no interest in trying to keep me at all.

need decent reliable broadband for work so dont want to change if it is going to cause me more giref.

    thanks,
