    Can anyone give me a rough idea how much it would cost to install Central Heating into an old Town House (nothing there at present other than fireplaces)

    -> 3 Storey House
    -> 8 radiators needed
    -> Square Footage =1,875 ft
    -> Gas Boiler

    Would 14k look about right?

    Gas boiler parts and labour 1,500
    Radiator parts and labour 1,200
    Water tank parts and labour 200
    Pipework parts and labour 10,000
    Miscallaneous extras parts and labour 600

    Total Central Heating Cost 13,500

    Is that including buying bathroom suites etc?

    That's the cost of an entire replumb including a couple of bathrooms i'd say lol. Is that a quotation that someone has done up for you or are you just doing a guesstimate yourself?

    OP: what level of pipe concealment do you expect for the project?
    is ground floor concrete?
    are walls solid or dry lined or TF?
    end of terrace?

    Hello all.

    Sorry... i was offline for a few days.

    It's a guesstimate i threw together to see if i was near or miles off.

    The ground floor is concrete alright.

    The exterior walls are solid/ brick... but the internal walls are dry lined.

    The whole house needs fixing... so the level of pipe concealment can be factured in later with the cosmetic works.

    End of terrace too. 3 Entrances. House dates around 1880. Electrics and plumbing from the 70's I'd say.

    Any of you bucks near or around Roscommon and fancy looking/ quoting? There's more work than just plumbing too.

    Depending on the floors you'd be looking between 6-8k
