Hey guys, I was left this a few years ago and keep it for special occasions. Was asked about it recently and tried to look it up online to learn a bit more but struggled to locate the same model.

Does anyone happen to know what model it may be?

    Cheers

The watch dates from the 1950s I would reckon. And is unusual for the time as it has a display dial.

But very hard to determine the exact model. You may want to get the back open and see if there are any reference or model numbers on the back of the case. Or the movement.
Then search for those and see what comes up.
It is a nice watch though.

:D I have no idea TBH. Though I'd say later than 1950's myself, maybe even 1970's.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

There was 3 digits on the rear of the watch but they didn't reveal anything in a search.
It was my grandfathers, he moved from rural Sligo to the uk in 61 so I can only imagine it was after that he got it.

I love watching the movement through the face. I know that the glass was changed at some stage and that it has a more domed glass on it than originally. I'm not sure how/when the number 11 got damaged though
