Arcadian Field Festival is a new independent, grassroots two day camping event nestled at the foot of the Cooley Mountains on the breath-taking grounds of Bellurgan Park. A unique setting with an intimate and positive vibe.

Settle into beautiful natural splendour, surrounded by nature in the shadow of Tipping's Wood, an enchanting old growth native forest overlooking the festivities. Dance to your hearts content and connect with others in ecstatic dancefloor rhythm at one of two fabulous hand crafted, natural outdoor stages. Wander blissfully through Bellurgan House to catch some poetry, storytelling, theatre, an informative talk or a candle lit night-time guest performance. Take a morning hike through the woods to reconnect with nature and recharge your energy. Stretch out your body and maybe find a deeper understanding on the front lawn with some Yoga during the day. Why not try something relaxing in our therapeutic and healing area?'

We will gather together to celebrate life with music, art and other creative forms, and to educate, connect, heal and inspire. We want to really look after all our guests and will be offering all inclusive activities such as sound healing, yoga, nature walks, various outdoor activities, tea parties and much more as part of the festival. The weekend performances will include music, spoken word, poetry, theatre and acrobatics. All activities and events will take place inside the house, in the connecting walled garden stage and on the larger main stage known as ‘Valhalla’. We really can’t wait to see you there!'

Any festival of any size can either succeed or fail... that's the only two options really.

Not everybody wants to go to a festival and see big name acts. Ireland is full of international quality underground music at the moment, its absolutely teaming with amazing talent. A lot of music fans love to discover new sounds and don't want to see the same old line up three events in a row.

Maybe you should check out some of the line up yourself. You may find something you really love. The Arcadian Field facebook has band profiles with sound bites for acts if you are interested.

Bellurgan Park is a fantastic venue & I hope you get the ticket sales to make it a viable proposition..
The first year of Vantastival was very small, but word of mouth grew it each year..

Regarding the "Strictly over 21's" - if someone is a performing act's +1/guest/whatever and they are under 21 would that be permitted?
