if one was to consider serving a circuit court civil bill upon a person it is my understanding once served the defendant has 10 days to lodge appearance and 10 more days defence which i also understand the courts give leeway. if after serving a civil bill no appearance is entered or defence after 30 days could one progress to judgement in default and if yes how would one go about same

It depends on whether it is for a liquidated sum or not.
