As anyone ever set up a deal with either of these companies?
Iv tried to contact them recently through the company I work for but haven't even replied to me.
I used grouponworks.ie / dealrush.ie/contactus to put my idea to them and have not heard anything back. Try ringing them and they say they only use the online form (i.e above links) to contact them!

Groupon has taken a nose-dive recently. Looks like they've sacked the excellent Irish girls they had and are now farming it out to Asia with the usual polite-but-couldn't-really-give-a-damn policy.

I also found they are a joke to deal with, might be better off running a promotion or paid adverts on FB...

groupon is a bad idea in my opinion, customer service is shocking
they take 50% of the deal too
better off on facebook or even try boards

Groupon also seems to me and many others Ive talked to as a last ditch attempt, it devalues the company and looks like its about to go out of business

Took a deal out with Groupon recently.
Got a 1/3 of the order delivered, emailed them and was told, the rest of the order was on way.
3 weeks later still hadn't arrived so cancelled order.
2 weeks after the cancellation got the balance of the order delivered?
Customer service slow to reply to emails.

My last b&b booking with them was so crap I got a refund in credit and I can't find anything to spend it on
This business model is on its Arse
Screams desperation for a company trying to raise money

wouldnt mind but the groupon model in america is huge.... we went to vegas and had at least 5-6 groupons with us and everything was perfect!
As much as their customer service here in ireland is lacking - i do think a lot comes down to how much it is utilized by companies here.... or in this case under-utilized
