    Hi folks,

I'm just finishing up my summer holidays and I want to set myself a challenge to get in shape as quickly as possible.

I'm not perfect and I enjoy the odd can of coke and a beer every now and again so I'm not going to completely abstain from either of those but cakes / choc / sweets are out and I'm going to try to eat my 5 a day.

The idea is to see how quickly I can get to a sub 20 minute 5 k, I'm currently 13.1 stone and the last park run I did was 23:50. I have pb'd earlier in the year with 21:32 but I've just been too busy to nurture it. I'm 36 years young.

I am determined to make this happen now.

Good luck with the mission OP - you'll get plenty of advice and support along the way here, it might help people to provide constructive feedback if you give some context with regards to your training background - for example, how far\often where you running when you ran your PB?
