Purchase Land Off Fingal CoCo

    Hello all,

I am in the process of buying a detached house at the end of the road. Beside the house is a small piece of land, a grass verge so to speak. Approx 15x5ft.
The house behind mine that backs on to me seems to have acquired this piece of land beside his house as his fence is now out to the road.

Fingal coco website states that they do sell off plots of land and to submit plans, pictures etc and they will send off to a valuer and get back with a price. This land provides no right of way or anything but would provide me with a nice side garden. It would not be big enough to build anything on.

Since the sale on the house is not completed, I cannot formally apply for a price yet so I was wondering if anyone has any ballpark figures of what kind of money these side patches can be acquired for?

    Cheers.

Obvious answer would seem to be to ask the neighbour behind, although it's possible that he simply fenced!
