Investing a house into a company as an asset

My predicament is that I got pushed out of a company I co-founded (I was going through some troubles and caused some mayhem during that time period) and its possible I can regain my position in the company if I invest some money into it. The issue is that the only money I have is in home equity, and we're not planning on selling the house for a year.

In this particular situation, is there anything you could do to convert your home ownership into a bargaining chip to regain your place in a company you helped start? Why would anyone want to buy a share in a house?

This sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Sounds like you lost trust of the board. Its time to do the right thing.

could you remortgage and release funds that way? Is the company paying dividends to shareholders currently?

Not sure how happy your other half would be to do that though?
