Golf membership Limerick.

    Hi,

    As the title suggest I am looking for a competitive membership in or around Linerick city.

    Any golf club in a 20 min drive of limerick would be fine.

    You can join Castletroy for €650 if you're under 30. Otherwise Ballyneety is probably your best bet.

    I'm over 30 unfortunately!! But I'm a mature student in UL, is this of any use?

    I would inquire with them all and see what the best option is for you.

    Limerick golf club I think are open for membership and would be worthwhile checking. Solid course and a good members club. Here and Castletroy are the best options for close to the city. Both memberships are c. €1,300-€1,400 I think

    Outside Limerick the old Adare is a good club. Newcastle West is a very good club and id say the membership is affordable.

    Don't suppose anyone knows of a club in Limerick vicinity doing a pay as you play type membership ?

    Not getting much golf in these days...not enough to justify a full sub anyway but would still like to play comps when I can get out
