Last minute roof box recommendations?

    Hi folks,

    Driving to the continent next week, and realised I need a roofbox!
    From what I can gather, Halfords will rip me off.

    I was thinking of this from micksgarage:

    Anyone used these before or have one?

    Max budget is around 200 for the box and I guess 80 for the bars.

    Any other places I should look before I buy?
    All recommendations / tips are most welcome!

    I would check adverts/done deal before you go anywhere else. Some good bargains up there.

    One thing to note, I was away 2 weeks ago and my brother was coming with me. He bought roof box and said nothing. When he told me I knew it made car over 1.9m, when I rang Irish Ferries they wouldn't let him on as no space for over 1.9m. Just something to check if you have not already

    He just bought from Halfords, think it was 400 all in with installation for 450 or something like that ltr box.

    As said above check what height your car will be with bars and box added in then check your ferry booking.
