    Hi

I'm looking for some kind of self inflating sleeping pad that is on the light side so that I can stow it in panniers on a bike camping tour . Hopefully not too expensive either .

    Any recommendations ?

    Thanks

Depends how small/light you wanna go. The likes of the Klymit X Frame is less than 300 grams and rolls into roughly the same size as a coke can, it's reasonably comfy.

Friends of mine who would be a solid source of knowledge on this, and regularly tour light and/or bikepack swear by the Big Agnes sleeping bags and pads - https://www.bigagnes.com

Specifically this one and the 20" pad - https://www.bigagnes.com/Products/Detail/Bag/fishhawk30

I have and use an original NeoAir, about 4 years old. There are several variations on it now by Thermarest but it's extremely lightweight and packs tiny. Great insulation.
    Big Coke can size.

alpkit have some decent mats that roll up very small. I've got a Numo, and it's pretty tiny, but very comfy.
