Sub-leasehold?

I noticed on the land direct my house is down as sub-leasehold – is this the same as leasehold? Houses around me are all freehold.

Should I purchase the lease? How do I go about finding out how much it would cost without actually applying for it?

(In case it makes any difference - when buying the house last year the solicitor never mentioned purchasing the lease. During an audit my solicitor noticed they should have billed me for first time registration of my property/ land map and refunded me some money months after house purchase went through. )
