Quick question on Undercoat paint

Hi all,

Just have a quick question about undercoat paint. My other half picked up a tin of white undercoat paint so we can give one of the bedrooms a quick coat before painting in colours we have chosen. Anyway when I got back yesterday evening she had finished the room but when I was checking the tin of undercoat it said it was for interior and exterior use for Wood and Metal.

My questions is does it make a difference that is was used on interior walls as it states on tin for use with Wood and Metal??
