We're looking for a piece of art for our home. Something Irish and most likely landscape or a capture of a particular Irish place/street/building. We went into merrion square today but didn't see anything that floated our boat. Where else could we look?

I see a gallery in Wexford called the gas lamp gallery on Facebook. I don't know if you have to view in real life or not, but some of the stuff looks fab!

If you are ever in Killarney there's an art gallery in the town center. The last time I was there they had huge pictures of the cliffs of moher. I can't remember the name of the gallery but it's in the town center with a huge glass frontage.

Google the name of the town you're in plus the phrase "commercial galleries"

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

There are a few great galleries in Derry but sounds pretty far from you.
Some nice artists who paint traditional scenes include Pat Dan Rodgers, J.P.Rooney and Rebecca Campbell - but I guess you are asking for galleries.
