Hi a friend was assaulted last night.she had to go to hospital and get stitches. She was assaulted by a guy. I can't go into too much detail. Just wondering should she go to the guards and make a statement today or wait and get a solicitor tonorrow .
    Thanks in advance

Victims of assault who are entirely innocent can simply call the Gardai and make a statement and worry about seeing a solicitor at a more convenient time.
