Pregnant on Jobpath

Just found out recently that I'm almost 5 and a half months pregnant and on the jobpath scheme, will I have to inform my case worker of my pregnancy and have to keep attending meetings even though it will be very hard for me to get a job if employers know I am pregnant. I am genuinely continually looking for work but I can't see any employer taking on a pregnant woman! Anyone else experienced something similar?

Congratulations! The information below may be helpful and there is more
    in the link. http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/social_welfare_payments/social_welfare_payments_to_families_and_children/pregnancy_and_social_welfare_payments.html

If you are pregnant you may continue to get a jobseeker's payment - either Jobseeker’s Benefit (JB) or Jobseeker's Allowance. You are considered capable of work unless, you have complications during your pregnancy or you are ill. You must be available for and genuinely seeking work to get a jobseeker's payment. This means that you must continue to look for work throughout your pregnancy.

However, 4 weeks before your baby is due to be born and for 8 weeks after the birth, you do not have to sign-on at your local social welfare office and you do not have to prove that you are seeking work. You must inform your Intreo centre or local social welfare office of your pregnancy.

I've actually read that information a couple of times but with job path being a one year programme I am not required to sign on until next year and I'm usually called in 3 times per week I'm just worried about what will happen when I'm very heavily pregnant or just about to give birth regarding these meeting but thanks for the reply!

You should inform Jobpath and see what arrangements they put in place for pregnancy but they are likely to be very similar to Jobseekers arrangments in terms of exemption times for before and after the baby arrives.
