This is all I can get in Woodies, anyone know if BnQ have anything longer ?

Chemicals won't work because there is no drainage what so ever so it won't reach the block.

4.5 meters is obviously not long enough unfortunately.

Is this a sewer or a sink or what?
Anyway, one way around it is to shove a hose down to the blockage and then pour the chemical unblocker slowly down the hose, it will displace an equal quantity of water which you may have to remove. [gloves, goggles etc]
You will also need to be patient, it could take a day for the stuff to work

The other idea is get a wet and dry vacuum and remove as much of the liquid as possible

Yes it's the sink waste pipe.

My Mother has a wet and dry vac but lost the wet kit part. so it's useless, typical.

I have thought about using a hose but I'd never get it through the bends, the snake wire was hard enough.

The wet and dry would be good because currently the chemicals have nowhere to go because there is no drainage what so ever.

I can look for a longer snake wire tomorrow. BnQ, Woodies only have a 4.5 meter which isn't long enough and all the proper hardware stores are closed in Carlow Town on Sunday.
