Hi, I came from Japan 3 months ago. Now I'm looking for where I can make LGBT friends or partners in Dublin city.
I have to hide that I'm bigender & bisexual here, so I always feel lonliness...
There is nobody who understands my frustration.
Does anyone become a friend? I'm FtM (female to Male) welcome any LGBT people.

Look for meetups like the ones that are organised on here frequently or social groups. Outhouse is another resource. There are trans groups also - there are other posters here who would give much better advice there.

Also, going to the limited number of gay bars we have in the afternoon on weekends makes it much easier to talk to people in a less loud and less looking for sex environment.

Yes, the gay bars in Dublin welcomes all people, not just men!

Really?! I didn't know that because in Japan gay bars are usually only for men..
If I go the bar, may I talk to someone?

Absolutely. It is not like that here - you find all sorts of people in these bars!

I personally like Pantibar - it is a nice social bar. The George has great events like Bingo but it is more of a nightclub venue. The Front Lounge is also nice.

There are only three - J_E has listed them all

During the daytime/evening I'd recommend Pantibar and the Front Lounge - probably only the corner bar of The George would be open and it has a much older crowd.

Thank you! I've been to The Front Lounge before (I didn't know it was gay bar) but too mature for me... I couldn't let my hair down.
I prefer to Pantibar. It seems interesting! I don't have confidence for listening skill so hope there is not loud...

Thank you! Evening is fine rather than night! I'm going to Pantibar this weekend if I can. I'm really looking forward to going.

TENI have a peer support group in Dublin

    http://www.teni.ie/support.aspx

Bi Ireland is also a good group

    https://www.facebook.com/biirelandnetwork/

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Thanks fo info, I'm going to check it!

Today I went to Panti but I hesitated to talk to others...(-.-;)
I had no idea how to do and lonliness was much stronger. Making friends isn't easy way.
But the bar was really nice place.
