Topping Rates

    Neighbour who rents land closeby approached me to do abit of topping for him. Approx 15 acres. His home Farm is in roscommon which is about 50 miles away. Anyone any idea of what the going rates are? €10 an acre???

    Do it per hour Reg,
    - 35-40hr minimum i would think

    If it's €20 an acre for mowing it would be more than €10 for topping, handier on diesel but takes as long and depending on ground can be rough on yokes

    Depends. Is that €10 + VAT?
