The original movie was fun (albeit with a nonsensical twist). The sequel came out here last week.

Along similar lines to the original. It had some twists but nothing as stupid as the one in the original. There were 4 or 5 set pieces that were fun and had great energy, particularly the
    heist
. The original had a memorable score and some of that music carried through to the sequel (same composer).

Lizzy Caplan did a good job standing in for Isla Fisher too.

A good 7/10 in my eyes (although take 2 off that if you haven't seen the first - some of it won't make any sense to you at all).

I think there is a good foundation there to finish a trilogy.

I liked it, but much less than the first one, which I really loved.

Pretty much my feeling on this too. It is essentially the ocean movies but with magic. They're planning a third and I wouldn't hesitate in going to see it. Pure popcorn fluff but decent all the same.

I really enjoyed. Suspension of disbelief needed big time (It's a movie about magicians soooooooo fair enough :pac:). The cast bounced each other really well, and Woody Harrelson's Matthew McConaughey impression was....interesting.

I just hope they hit the right mark with the 3rd.

Looking forward to seeing this during the week having enjoyed the first one.

I remember someone on Reddit saying they missed the boat by not naming this one "Now You Don't". I still think that would have been genius.
