    Would a 9 inch angle grinder cut an RSJ into the correct lengths?

    It will but you will have to mark it well and cut from top , bottom and the side to gey through

    Yeah no problem. They cut surprisingly easy if you go about it the right way. Use the skinny cutting discs if You can. They'll fly through them.

    Yeah, it's bit awkward to mark the webb, a small square that fits down into it would help. What size are the RSJs 200x100?

    As bullocks says cut the top and bottom first, then the webb at the end. A sharpie permanant marker is what I use to mark stuff.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    You can get an adjustable 'set square' which allows you to adjust both the angle and the length of the leg.
