Early records for Catholic parish of Armoy?

    Does anyone know if records for the Catholic parish of Armoy, Diocese of Down and Connor, are available prior to 1848? That is the date the records begin on the NLI site but I am looking for prior records, pay or free.

    The Catholic parish I am interested in is Ballycastle, which was once part of Armoy parish. Their records begin in 1838 but if earlier records are available, I'd like to search them. Thanks.
