    howdy!

    Where is the best place in Dublin or Kildare for this? I would love to get some of the fluffier lighter fiberglass stuff if possible and much prefer fiberglass to mineral wool. anyone?

    Rockwool is the material you need, not fibreglass.

    No, rockwool is ok for the job too but attic insulation is better. You can use this calculator to try different materials to compare

    I bought my RW45 from Usher Insulations in Coolmine Dublin 15. I got a bale of 9 for €40 from memory. Then made acoustic treatment with them. The 45 in RW45 stands for the 4.5cm thickness.
