Speeding fine

    Hi,

Just got back from travelling for two months and I have a speeding fine in my letters and I've missed the deadline to pay. I remember the incident, leaving a village there's a bend and I'd started to accelerate anticipating the speed limit to increase to 60km shortly after the bend, the speed van was just before the 60km sign and I was clocked at 57km in a 50 zone. Should have been more patient. I had my learner permit at the time and have since got the full. Anyway, what's to expect now? Anyway of paying after the deadline?

Edit; Will the 3 points drive up my insurance much? I'm already paying an arm and a leg.

Go to court, claim that you didn't get the fine I time.
Bring along proof that you were out of the country
