I have completed Year 1 of Accounting Technician course, but failed tax and accounting.
I wish to repeat in Aug.
Can anyone reccommend someone who is willing to give me grinds in both subjects, starting immediately, please.I'm desperate!

I don't know about grinds, but having completed the course a couple of years ago you are going to have to put in a lot of work next year.
Tax and Financial accounting are core subjects and they only get more complicated next year.

You can't go to second year without passing both Tax and Financial Accounting. They don't let you. You can go to second year if you have failed Business and/or Law and make the exams in second year. It's like if you have 6 subjects.

I would recommend you to look around where you live if you want grinds either so long as you are not into getting online grinds via computer tutorials, videos and email exchanges.

Also you need to know which areas are your weaknesses I mean which ones are your problems you only have 1 month for the exams

Financial Accounting do you have problems with the Financial Statements which ones? Do you have issues with error correction, incomplete records, reconciliations of both Control accounts and bank. etc

Taxation do you have issues with Income tax computation, Paye calculations, Vat calc. etc.

I realise this, as I said I have completed the course.
I meant if the op failed badly are they sure the course is for them as it only gets harder. Even if they manage to get through this time.

To be honest failing the first time around it's more likely due to bad study habits you'd be surprise how bad are some studying techniques people have/use. That's why I was talking about focusing on finding the reasons for the failing. Studying is a skill you are never taught and it makes a hell of a lot difference.

It looks weird but one of the things I do when I study is writing all my mistakes in a list and checking that list every now and then. You might understand what you did wrong but more often than not you forget and repeat the same stupid mistakes over and over again' you become blind to them and in exams that could be the difference between passing or not.

Find your mistakes, understand what you did wrong, and check that list every now and them. Humans are the only retarded animals that repeat mistakes over and over again.

When are the repeats? I did the course the year before and did pretty well, I doubt it has changed too much. 100% in Accounting and 78% I think in Tax.

If I still have my notes I could possibly give you some help. Most of it is doing practise questions over and over. I'm on the northside of town but I'm not free until the middle of next week though if that is of any use to you.
