Robbie McNamara has his first batch of horses out tonight at Cork. Would be wonderful to see him get a winner. I think Chadic could be a nice horse suited to the flat at Cork, but already have Roachdale House earmarked for success.

He did a great stable tour on ATR and was fairly bullish about some of his horses chances tonight. The first three are all fairly big prices so I threw them in a Trixie although his runner in the last looks to be his best chance on paper.

Also noticed Ruby riding Simenone in the 7:55. Surely he wouldn't travel to Cork for one ride if he wasn't fairly confident?

Quoted as saying "the 2 I fancied most are yet to come but Call Vinnie might struggle a bit as he is up in trip." Interesting, also good market support for his runner in the last. Have had a bet on Kalanisi King in the 7:55 as well, has been withdrawn several times in the past and the Paul Townend booking looks a major plus.

That's strange now, should have withdrawn him - not allow him to be punted into favouritism!

Wonderful to see Robbie get two winners tonight, you could just tell everyone was delighted for him.

Delighted for him, he's got some decent ammunition. He's going to be a great trainer.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Kalanisi King, trained by J.R. Barry, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing and making an abnormal respiratory noise post race.
