    Hi everyone.
I found a few old threads about this but they seem out of date.
What's the going rate for milage/km for work?
Iv 200 miles to do for work in my own car.

    http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/it/leaflets/it51.html

Up to 6,437km per year is 39.12 cent - 59.07 cent a km depending on engine size

Company 1 in 2015 large bank 88c per km
Company 2 in 2015 multi national insurer 30c per km
Company 3 in 2014 multi national insurer 39c for first 50km then 19.5c for every other km of a round trip

Rate fore company 3 is fine when you are doing decent trips distance wise and up to 2000 km per year but if you are doing more than that it doesn't pay for up keep of car

Rate for company 1 is ridiculously high covered 30k km in 8 months even paying tax on mileage made a killing, in my experience 50c per km is more than sufficient

If I get paid mileage by my employer (I'm a contractor) can I claim the same milage in my annual tax returns?

    I get 40cent per k/m from employer
Can I claim for mileage and subsistence from revenue.

    Is this OK?
