    Hi guys,

Have being looking up the Maldives for our honeymoon in September/October 2017.
Honestly am so confused about which island to go for....

We will both be 30 when travelling and want to have a few fun activities to do but still have the whole peaceful relaxation time the Maldives seem to offer.
Looking for advice on which island to go to or which resorts to stay in and which island have the best amenities for a bit of night time entertainment and for activities during the day

    Cheers

No complaints for Kuramathi, a genuine piece of paradise. You have to get the room over the water/on stilts as well as the seaplane from the airport. Just heavenly, the whole thing.

We are just back from Kuramathi and its stunning .. In fairness most of the islands are quite similar but Kuramathi being a little bit bigger has more to offer in terms of selection of bars and restaurants and a beautiful sandbank to watch the sunrise every evening. We stayed in a sunset water villa and it was incredible. If you want to see some of my pictures on Instagram check out https://www.instagram.com/lifeofreillyphotography/
I brought my drone and got some stunning aerial shots of the island

Another vote for Kuramathi. Went late October last year as part of our honeymoon, we were 29 and found the bigger island suited us better as we liked the variety of the bars and restaurants(all inclusive select rather than standard AI). We booked flights ourselves and the resort & seaplane via Travellab.

Activity wise we went on a few snorkelling trips, kayaking, windsurfing, himself played soccer one day while I hit the spa and a trip to the local island across the way, would recommend all bar the local island.

The island was under construction while we were there and the new water villas up by the sandbank were only half built - if budget allows try stay up this area as the sandbank is just fab!

We went with Dubai and kuramathi for our honeymoon. Dubai was lovely and all but kuramathi is absolutely unreal.

Great recommendation thanks guys, highly recommended from us!
