    lads do you need tax and insurance to do cvrt test, i mean if you test a vehicle without tax and insurance can they fail you on that or is it relevant to test?

    It does not have to be taxed but I assume would need insurance in order for it to be driven to the test center either it be a motor dealer/mechanics own policy or a private policy.

    It does need insurance and cvrt to be taxed.
